Preparation and dosage of Bontril weight loss
Like all other anorectics, bontril should be used together with a calorie reduced diet and on exercise program.

Take the drug 50 minutes to one hour before meals and about 4-6 hour before bed time for the last dose.

The drug is administered through the mouth with a glass full of water.

The tablet should not be chewed or crushed, swallow it whole.

Mechanism of Action
Bontril is a central nervous system stimulant very similar to the amphetamine drugs widely abused year back as the club drug "speed".

It acts on your brain to suppress the signal of hunger.

Caution

Bontril weight loss may result to allergic reaction like swelling of lips, and tongue, hallucinations, chest pains, a pounding heart and difficulty while urinating.

It may also cause restlessness, anxiety, dizziness, headaches, insomnia, diarrhea, dry mouth and changes in sex drive.

If you are taking this drug do not operate machinery or engage in any activity that requires alertness like driving. Also avoid decongestants like over the counter cough medicines and card medicines. Similarly avoid caffeine product as they all result to an increased heart rate when they interact with bontril.

Do not take this drug if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, glaucoma, history of drug abuse or if you have used any MAOT (Monocrin Oxide Inhibitors) in the last 14 days.
