How to achieve weight loss easily

An easy weight loss claim can be a very attractive reason to choose a particular weight loss plan. And indeed it has been used by many commercial diets to promote their diet products and programs.

Let us first look at the word easy. The Chambers dictionary defines the word easy as ease; meaning freedom from pain or disturbance or freedom from difficulty, trouble or anxiety. It also means to move gradually.

Essentially then easy weight loss would mean losing weight with the least pain or disturbance to you. So how possible is that?

To better understand possibilities of easy weight loss you need to first understand the dynamics of weight loss. You then can be able to determine if the process can be executed with ease.

Losing weight is approached from two main ends. You need to stop adding any more weight. And you need to use up the excess weight you already carry in form of excess body weight.

The first –stopping to add more weight- involves controlling your calorie intake so that the body does not get any excess energy. Every time you feed your body more calories than it needs, it simply stashes it as body fat for future use. Controlling your calorie intake is done using a weight loss diet.

 

So how easy is a weight-loss eating plan?

On principle there is nothing difficult about it. Generally an effective weight loss diet will have slightly less calories than you need in a day. This makes your body to demand the calorie deficit to be filled by the body’s energy reserve- your body fat. But more importantly it stops you from adding any more weight.

The second approach is that of using the already existing body fat.

As opposed to some claims, there is no other way of losing body fat other than using it. Body fat is reserve energy and the only way your body will “get rid” of it is by metabolizing it. To metabolize it you need to expend energy. The most effective well as healthy way of expending energy is by using scheduled physical activities.

Exercises targeting weight loss is the most natural and in many ways the most effective way of using up already existing excess body fat. Together with an effective weight loss diet plan they are the basics upon which easy weight loss would lay.

Unfortunately, these two are rarely enough to effect a sustainable weight loss.

Whether easy weight loss is achievable would depend on a number of things. First how many pounds do you want to lose and how fast do you want to lose it.

Secondly, when you say you want easy weight loss what do you understand. If you understand and mean that you do not want to put any effort you won’t see much change in lose of weight.
