Ionamin weight loss is similar to Adipex
only that
Ionamin is designed as a sustained release capsule. It is marketed by
the brand name IONAMIN. In New Zealand and Australia it is sold as
DUROMINE.
Generics:
Ionamin weight loss is weight loss
drug chemically referred to as Phentermine
Hydrochloride. It has several generics including Obenix,
Oby-Trim, Phentercoat, Phentride and Pro-Fast.
Manufacture:
Ionamin weight loss
pills is manufactured by Medeva Pharmaceutical.
Preparation and Dosage of Ionamin Weight Loss Pill:
Ionamin is available as a capsule of 15mg and 30mg of the resin complex
formulation. Resin complex alone for slower and sustained release of
the active ingredients.
The clinical significant of sustained release as opposed to an instant
release tablet like that used in Ionamin weight loss is not known. But
it does have the practical advantage of having two preparation (15mg
and 30mg) that allows one to start with a lower dose.
The doctor may move you to the stronger dosage if the lower dose is not
effective.
Mechanism of Action:
As a phentermine drug, Ionamin weight loss is an appetite suppressant.
It stimulates the central nervous system to increase the feeling of
satiety and inhibit hunger.
Side effect:
Though the human body tolerates phentermines like Ionamin well, it is
still like many other drugs, it still has side effects. Remember it
induces a light "fight or flee" state in your body and hence side
effects include typical "fight or flee" conditions. They include
increases heart rate, increased alertness, insomnia or lack of sleep,
restlessness, increased blood pressure trembling or shaking, nausea,
vomiting, dizziness, and constipation among others.
Less common side effects are chest pains, lower tolerance to exercises
or reduced ability to exercise, swelling of feet or lower legs and
trouble breathing. This side effect can easily be symptoms to more
serious problems. If you exhibit them you need to see your doctor
urgently.
Caution:
Ionamin weight loss like all the other weight loss medications should
only be taken under prescription and medical supervision. Many things
can go wrong when using drugs. This is particularly so if you have
health conditions or taking other kinds of drugs like ant-depressant
and vitamins or herbs.
