Lindsay Lohan  Diet

Emotional toll created Lindsay Lohan diet

The Truth About Linsay Lohan Diet

Lindsay Lohan diet is attributed to what looked as suspiciously drastic weight loss of the former teen star in 2005. And like some other famous diets like Jennifer Lopez diet, there is really nothing like Lindsay Lohan diet.

Rather it is more of dietary habits of Lindsay based on rumors, report and interviews explaining her lose of weight.  GHF Weight Loss (read a detailed review here) refers to such famous diets as celebrity diets.

Born in 1986 in New York, Lindsay Lohan rose quickly to celebrity status in her late teenage years. She is most remembered for the role she played in movie "Mean Girls". Previously curvy and seemingly fit, she was to appear, nearly suddenly, skinny and in a frail frame having lot quite abit of weight and a noticeably large bust.

She was rumored to have checked into a weight loss centre lost weight and then did breast enlargement. Speculations were rife including abuse of diet pills and/or weight loss drugs to an eating disorder.

When questioned about her dramatic and fast weight loss, an exasperated Lindsay Lohan said "people lose weight when they grow up". Obviously her excuse of losing puppy fat was unconvincing.

The Truth About Lindsay Lohan Diet

A better insight into her rapid weight loss was offered by her father, Michael Lohan. In an interview he is reported to have said "people wonder why Linsay so thin, it’s because of all this garbage between her mother and me. She is beaten up inside its ripped out whole family apart."

Michael who is estranged from his wife, Lindsay Lohan’s mother, is currently serving a four year jail term in New York State for drunk driving and assault of his brother in-law at a family party. All this family drama seems to have taken toll on Lindsay

In addition, an issue of Vanity Fair reportedly quoted Lindsay Lohan as admitting to have battled with bulimia. Bulimia is an eating disorder where one is engaged in eating and purging episodes. They could eat large amounts of food in a relatively short period. Then they follow with a purging exercise due to over whelming guilt. They use methods like self-induced vomiting or even use of "weight loss laxatives" to expunge the food they have eaten.

Lindsay quickly denied the content of the magazine saying her words were misused and miscostructed. The magazine stuck with their story saying tapes on the interview were available. A few months later Lindsay Lohan somewhat admitted to the magazine contents. In retrospect she said, "I am actualy happy Vanity Fair did that because (in correcting the article) it was nice to be able to say to young girls it’s not okay to treat yourself like that. And that there are other ways (rather than bulimia) to maintain a weight you like. I lost a lot of weight I had a lot of s**t to deal with at that time and I wasn’t eating right."

Emotional eating explains a lot of weight gain in many individuals. However as is evident with Lindsay Lohan it can also result to drastic weight loss through Bulimia. In both cases of weight gain and weight loss there is excessive eating propelled by emotions. This is a state that GHF Weight Loss (read a detailed review here) can help you aviod and to some extent manage.

A related but contrasting situation is that of Anna Nicole smith a former guess model. She gained weight when she was involved in a long court tussle over her husband’s estate. She was later to lose weight using a diet pill now referred to as the Anne Nicole Smith weight loss

Effective management of weight highly depends on effective management of emotional eating. Infact a celebrity diet by Bob Greene, the Bob Greens diet has emotional management as central to the success of the diet.
