Master

How
to use master cleanse for detox and weight loss
The
Master Cleanse is also called the lemonade diet, maple
syrup
diet or even more popularly as the beyonce
master cleanse.
All these diet names are related to one of the ingredients used in the
cleanse while Beyonce Knowles is the celebrity who has used
it for losing
weight.
The Master Cleanse is a detox liquid lemon diet protocol attributed to
Stanley Burroughs. Though
there claims to similar protocols as early as
1930’s Burroughs officially published the protocol in 1976
titled The
Master Cleanser.
The protocol is actually a detox, fasting and cleansing eating regime
that is to detoxify, eliminate diseases and supposedly provoke your
body to healthier eating habits. Burroughs is believed to have used it
to manage and even cure patients with ulcers and other intestinal
problems.
When
combined with our "Go Beyond
Calories" strategy, this protocol can give you unbelivably
fast results. You see to
lose weight, especially losing belly fat you
need to ignore calories. You need to "Go Beyond
Calories" and focus on two
things, just two
things.Watch this short video below to see these two
things...
Master Cleanse Weight Loss
The premise of the diet (Beyonce Master Cleanse)
is that over the course of the ten days, the
body will begin to heal itself and eradicate diseases because it no
longer needs to concentrate its energies towards digestion.
Over
the years, the protocol has evolved to lean more towards losing
weight.
It
has since been re-popularized as a weight loss strategy by
Peter Glickman’s book "Lose
Weight, Have More Energy &
Be Happier in 10 Days".
The logic behind this detox weight loss
strategy is that as the protocol
helps you detoxify your body, and so your body starts to lose weight
easily.
Science
has pointed to some evidence that your body store some
toxins that it cannot deal with immediately in the fat tissue. These
toxins make it hard for one to lose body fat because the body
does not want to poison itself.
If
you lose the fat, the toxins will be
released into your blood stream. So
the body tends to hang on to such
fat, making it extremely hard to lose weight.
Equally obvious is that this diet is extreme in caloric
restriction. Infact,
it aims to eliminate or keep to minimum calories for between 10
to 40 days.
However, inspite of this it is very possible to use the master cleanse
to have huge and
fast weight loss and still keep it off. We will look at the strategies
you need to follow at the end of this.
The Diet Protocol
Strictly speaking the diet has involves two
daily steps.
The
first is an agitation step that involves breaking down waste and
mobilizing toxins.
Here
you use a lemonade diet to breakdown and
mobiles toxins and waste from your digestive system.
The second is an elimination step that involves dissolving and
eliminating the waste and toxins.
Here
you use the not-so-loved salt
water flush and laxative tea to force bowel movements that expel the
toxins and waste.
Both the lemonade diet and the salt water flush are made at home. Below
are the ingredients you need.
The Ingredients
It is important to note that the distinguished the success or failure
of this diet is two things;
•
How well you adhere to the instruction
• And the quality of the master
cleanse ingredients you use.
You will find all kinds of modifications to the original regime.
Unfortunately these modifications will nearly always result to a
reduction in the effectiveness of the detox.
Below we give you a quick rundown of the ingredients. But to know what
function that they play in the cleanse find out more at Ingredients.
Distilled Water:
If you cannot find distilled water go for the next best thing, purified
or filtered water.
Fresh
Organic Lemons:
Strictly choose fresh lemons. You can substitute fresh lemons for fresh
lime, just make sure whatever you choose, you squeeze it fresh.
Maple
Syrup:
The maple syrup
used in the master cleanse is not your regular pancake
syrup. Stay away from table syrups. Choose a maple syrup that
is clearly labeled "Maple Syrup".
Just be careful to choose one that has no additives like added sugar,
preservatives etc.
Cayenne
Pepper: Get the grounded cayenne pepper that comes as a
powder. Avoid using capsules; you want the cayenne in the lemonade
drink.
Peppermint
Tea:
The cleanse allow you no food, except for this peppermint tea. Do not
do other kinds of teas; remember stick to the original directions as
much as possible.
Sea
Salt:
Choose sea salt that is basically processed by drying and grounding.
You should not use table salt, or even sea salt that has additives like
iodine etc.
Laxative
Tea:
Like sea salt, laxative tea is used for expulsion. Burroughs’
directions are that you should use both the salt water flush as well as
the laxatives.
These 7 make the ingredients you need to do a master cleanse. Below is
the recipe for both the lemonades diet and the salt water flush (SWF)
The Lemonade Diet Drink
Follow this recipe
to make the cleanse lemonade. Make sure your follow
these directions and
instructions.
Note:
Making a daily serving of the lemonade juice can go bad easily. An
alternative is to make a lemonade concentrate by mixing the maple syrup
and cayenne sepreate from another mixture of water and salt. You then
can mix a glass every time you want to drink. This will make sure your
lemon juice does not go bad.
The Salt Water Flush
The salt water flush
or SWF in short, is the second and
equally important part of the two step the master cleanse detox diet.
Use a liter of distilled water at room temperature. Mix in it two table
spoonfuls of sea salt. Shake or stir well until completely mixed. Try
to drink one litter of sea salt water in one go.
The salt water flush just like the lemonade diet drink should be done
daily.
What to Expect
You are detoxifying which basically means removing toxins. One stage of
a detoxing is mobilizing the toxin. This occurs particularly in the
first 3 to 5 days. During this time you will have a lot of toxins
floating around the body as they waiting to be eliminated. This will
usually not feel so good.
The good news is whatever detox symptoms you have will tend to go away
the next day. This is because of the salt water flush that eliminates
the toxins.
Some of the detox symptoms you can expect on the cleanse
includes cravings. This will generally be for the more toxic food e.g.
pizza, fries etc. You could also experience tiredness as the body
diverts most of its energies to detoxing. Others are irritability,
boredom, a strong desire to chew something solid, as well as hot bowel
movements as you eliminate acidic toxins.
Some rare symptoms include nausea, vomiting, physical aches and pains.
All these symptoms should go away in a day or two as you move your
bowels.
Also expect to
start moving your bowels urgently in about 30 min to one
hour after taking this salt water flush.
You can have as many as 5
bowel movements and even more.
Expect to be moving your bowels with
urgency for the next two to three hours after the first visit.
After
that you should be able to hold your bowels without the risk of an
accident.
The Weight Loss Strategy
Master Cleanse tends to "reset" your body metabolism. It is also
believed to result to a level of detoxification. Both of these two
concepts are contencious so keep that in mind.
As
a strategy, you can use this diet just before going into a wholesome
fat
loss program. The supposed metabolic resetting and detoxing is often
cited as the reason why you lose alot of weight fast after the master
cleaner.
So
the defining factor in getting the results you want is to choose an
effective fat loss program to compliment this detox.
When
it comes to losing fat permanetly, specifically belly fat you will need
to "Go
Beyond Calories".
You need to "Go Beyond
Calories" and focus on two things, just two things. These
two are....
