    It can be surprising how small an incident can create lasting effects especially when it comes to weight. The first step to making sure that a trained and licensed weight loss therapist with a solid reputation is chosen for therapy.

    Having a licensed and trained therapist with a solid reputation is going to provide you with a greater chance of success and greater benefit. It is not however a guarantee. There are any number of things, which can go wrong when it comes using hypnosis. In many cases, the effects are not long lasting and can often lead to regaining the weight lost or in extreme cases being unable to lose weight at all.

    Hypnosis can create drastic changes but if the necessary steps are not done in order to correct the underlying problem, then the mind itself may not have the necessary support to accept the product of hypnosis. In this instance, the change in habits or mental conversations that lead to the inability to lose weight or control weight once it is lost. This is why it is important to use hypnosis in addition to other methods for weight loss.     There are some individuals who cannot be hypnotized. There are others who receive the full benefit by creating lifestyle changes that go with the insights and assistance that hypnosis provides and go on to not only lose weight but maintain it. There are then others who receive the benefits for only a short time before they begin to regain the weight lost, are unable to lose weight, or they are unable to maintain their weight loss and constantly gain and lose weight.

    This is why it is important to not only to create the more positive mindset that is created from the use of hypnosis but also to use that only as a platform to build from rather than rely completely on.
