    2. The weight loss diet should inherently teach you with time a sustainable healthy diet for your ideal weight. This means the diet should have a transition to the kind of diet you should be using after achieving your ideal weight. Permanent weight loss requires some permanent changes in your eating habits. This transition from a weight loss diet to a healthy diet is key to losing weight for good.
